Urgent: RTI and Payroll Campaigns

HMRC have announced significant new changes to the way that payroll information has to be submitted. Real Time Information (RTI) is an HMRC scheme that means every time an employer pays an employee they will have to submit details about employee pay and deductions to HMRC.

RTI is mandatory for all employers and is to be implemented from April 2013 with all employers using the RTI service by October 2013. Many employers will not yet have started the preparation necessary to comply with RTI and are in danger of leaving it to the last minute as deadlines draw nearer.

As Accountants you should be taking the opportunity to help clients with the transition to RTI compliance. You could gain new clients through providing help and advice as well support throughout the joining process. This should be an ideal opportunity for you to build relationships with new prospects with the possibility to gain further work in the near future.
